Therapy that Transforms. Supervision that Supports.

About Karina

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor degree in Social Work before obtaining my Master’s degree in Counseling/Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Professional Counseling at Seton Hall University.

I have experience working in various settings with diverse populations including community mental health, group homes, substance abuse centers and college counseling. I have expertise in providing care to those with anxiety, depression, managing mood disorders and interpersonal struggles.

In particular, I most enjoy working with young adults (18-35) who are struggling with life transitions and interpersonal relationships.

I operate through an integrative lens utilizing person-centered, Interpersonal and family systems approaches. I believe the foundation of treatment should be strong therapeutic rapport. I feel every client is unique and it is important to tailor needs based on each individual.

Services

Individual Counseling

I offer individual counseling for adults (20+) seeking support with navigating life transitions, relationship and family dynamics, identity development, and healing from trauma. My approach is collaborative, warm, and laid-back, creating a space where clients feel seen & supported as they work toward growth. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, feeling stuck, or simply want a space to process & reflect, our work together will focus on helping you better understand yourself & make meaningful changes. Sessions are currently virtual only with in person being offered in the future.

I offer individual clinical supervision to LGPC's who are working toward licensure, providing a supportive & collaborative space to grow. My supervision style is reflective, strengths-based, and grounded in real-world experience, with a focus on helping you develop your clinical voice, deepen your understanding of relational and trauma-informed work, and navigate ethical challenges with confidence. Together, we’ll explore your cases, celebrate your growth, and identify areas for continued development, all while holding space for the unique pressures and joys of this phase in your career. Sessions are offered in person or virtually.

Group Supervision

I offer group supervision for pre-licensed clinicians seeking connection, shared learning, & support in a collaborative environment. Group supervision provides a space to discuss clinical cases, explore themes such as countertransference, boundaries, and self-care, and gain insight from peers at a similar stage in their professional journey. Groups are kept small to ensure everyone has space to engage meaningfully and feel supported. Offered virtually or in person.
